Azerbaijani President Completes Official Visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina
President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has concluded his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The visit was marked by a guard of honor lined up for the President upon his arrival at Sarajevo International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were on display.
During his stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, President Aliyev held meetings with top officials, including the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic, and other high-ranking officials. The discussions centered around developing bilateral relationships, including economic, trade, and cultural cooperation.
Both countries consider the development of economic cooperation as one of the primary goals of their relationship. Azerbaijan is interested in opportunities for investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the establishment of joint companies.
The visit confirmed the shared cultural similarities between the two countries, as it was announced that the Azerbaijan Cultural Center would open in Sarajevo to promote Azerbaijani culture and facilitate closer cultural ties between the two nations.
President Aliyev’s visit reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina on various fronts, including mutually beneficial economic and cultural exchanges.
