Mountaineering Sports Association to Organize Cultural Path and Nature Walk in Ancient City of Salamis
The Mountaineering Sports Association, which regularly organizes nature walks every Sunday, will be conducting a cultural path and nature walk in the Ancient City of Salamis on Sunday, April 16, in memory of the Champion Angels.
According to the association’s statement, the march will begin at 8:00 AM, and participants will gather at the Salamis Ruins entrance gate. The walk is relatively easy, with a difficulty level of 1, and is about 8 km long. Participants can expect the walk to take around 2.5 hours.
Following the walk, the group will visit Famagusta Cemetery at 11:00 AM, where they will pay their respects to the graves of the Champion Angels who lost their lives in an earthquake in Turkey. Carnations will be left at the site.
Anyone who wishes to pay tribute to the Champion Angels is welcome to join the cultural path and nature walk organized by Mountaineering Sports Association.
